Checkümark is more than a name, it’s how we started.
Our founder Mark L Autorino the Mark in Checkümark is a builder by trade. He started doing Home Inspections for local banks for various reasons, and doing private purchases for friends. That is when he decided to start his own inspection company to complement his Construction Company one that would protect purchasers and sellers alike.
Our inspector is not just a Licensed Home Inspector that had another career and passed a written test to get his license. Our Inspector has built over 100 homes in the upstate and won numerous awards for building in local Showcase of Homes in Greenville and Spartanburg counties. Our inspector is a past president of the Home Builders Association of Spartanburg and voted builder of the year in 2003. In 2003 Mark was appointed to the Building Codes Board of Appeals for Spartanburg County and currently serves a Chairman.
